The Superfast vision began to materialize in 1995 with the deployment of the first pair of pioneering German-built car passenger ferries Superfast I and Superfast II, on the Patras-Ancona route reducing travelling time from 36 to 20 hours and setting new standards in maritime transport between Greece and Italy.
Today, Superfast Ferries operates 5 ultra-modern car-passenger ferries, offering daily connections from the Greek ports of Patras, Igoumenitsa and Corfu to the Italian ports of Ancona and Bari, holding the number one position in the transportation of passengers for ten consecutive years.
Additionally, the ultramodern high-speed ferry "SUPERFAST XII" departs daily from Piraeus to Heraklion (15:30 - 22:00) and from Heraklion to Piraeus (23:45 - 06:15).
Superfast Ferries vessels are certified under the International Safety Management Code (ISM), related to the provisions of SOLAS for the protection of human life at sea, and the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000.
