In search for "Paradise Lost"? Have we got news for you! It's not lost. Just hidden. Right under your noses: A castaway island with golden beaches, a perfect retreat for a relaxing day, away from all of civilizations trouble.

A short drive following the eastern coastal road, crossing the narrowest part of the island down to the south will bring us to Ierapetra. From there we'll take the boat that will carry us over the ever-changing colors of the Libyan Seas' crystal clear waters to Chrissi with some luck accompanied by dolphins.
Suddenly there it is... the last possible landfall before the African coast, the Golden Isle (Chrissi). This semi-tropical paradise, with fantastic beaches, consisting of millions of multicolored crushed seashells, sparkling under the sun.
Time to find yourself your private spot to do some serious sunbathing, or to relax in the sand dunes under the shade of the cedar trees. Take a stroll to the tiny whitewashed church or simply chill out at one of the two taverns.
